Hello everybody,
before posting here, I searched extensively on the forum, with no luck.

2 weeks ago, my spring started doing a strange "rolling" noise, here more details:
- Noise audible especially starting from 60 kmh.
- Changes frequency depending by the speed.
- Trying steering left or right don't make any difference at all - still constant depending by the speed
- Noise is the same, accelerating, decelerating, or in neutral
- Noise is the same, while cold, hot, after 1 km or after 500 km
- Noise is the same when I ride alone, or with 1-2-3 passengers.
- I checked the tires, tried inflating to 2.5, deflating to 2.0, and nothing changed
- Checked the wheel, but I don't see anything strange or loose.
- Driveshaft checked, I don't see anything strange or loose, and don't see any leakage.

My car has 2 years and now it has nearly 48000 km on the odometer.
The noise appeared near 3000 km ago, and is consistent... and annoying.
I did not see any change in terms of consumption, but I am a little worried that this noise could cause a worse issue in the future.

The car is affected by the - not so strong - Klonk, but considering that I am mainly using that on the highways, and on the city mainly in eco mode, It's not really too audible.

Since I'm not sure this issue could be covered by any extended warranty (I have one that covers up to 50000 km or 3 years), I don't know if it's better taking that as soon as possible to the official garage or if it's only a matter of lubrication (eg for the differential).

Any idea?

Thanks!

Sound file (or video w. sound) could bei helpful.

Which tires are you driving? How old they are?

I think you have to check the bears at the wheels. There are some forum members who had problems with the bearings.

There's a two-year warranty in the EU, so I would definitely discuss the issue with the dealer. A noise or bearing failure isn't likely to occur so quickly.

The ball bearings yes, the tires no. What is the meaning of 3 YO? We have original the LingLong tires. I think they cant make noise because there is no design.

3 years old, original linglong tires
Was referring to warranty on bearings, of course was not expecting warranty on tires after more than 20k km with them😉

Hallo,
